Get ready! Windows Server and SQL Server 2008/2008 R2 end of support is approaching.

End of support for both Windows Server and SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2 is coming up. It’s important to plan your migration and upgrade strategy as soon as possible because once support ends, security updates stop and running software without security updates can violate compliance requirements.

The good news is there are several solutions:

  • You can re-host Windows Server and SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2 all to Azure where you get three more years of security updates at no additional charge and unlock scale and innovation at the same time
  • For data that needs to stay on premises, you can upgrade with the most up to date security features and regular security updates
  • For workloads you can’t upgrade in time, you can purchase extended security updates for three more years

Whether you migrate to Azure or keep workloads on premises, Inviso can help you plan for your future. For more information, contact us at info@invisocorp.com.
